VOJTA THERAPY

Vojta-Therapy is a dynamic neuromuscular treatment method based on the developmental kinesiology and principles of reflex locomotion.  It was developed by child neurologist Prof. Vaclav Vojta (left) in the 20th century and now used predominantly in all over the world.

Reflex locomotion is motor reactions occurring throughout the entire body as a result to specific peripheral stimulations given to specific body parts (zone) with the patient placed in specific position.

Indications for Vojta Therapy:

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Central coordination disturbance

  • Delayed motor development

  • Spinal cord syndrome

  • Scoliosis, Torticolis

  • muscular disease

  • Peripheral nerve injury

  • Hip joint dysplasia

  • Problems in the breathing, swelling, and chewing function
