( DNS )

Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, or “DNS”, is a manual and rehabilitative approach to optimize the movement system based upon the scientific principles of developmental kinesiology of the first years of life.

The developer of DNS is Professor Pavel Kolar, PT, PhD, a Czech physiotherapist who has been influenced by the “greats” of Prague School of Manual Medicine, including Karel Lewit, Vladimir Janda, Vaclav Vojta and Frantisek Vele.

The DNS method provides functional tools to assess, treat or prevent irritation to injuries by balancing the body and optimizing the movement system while teaching the brain to maintain central control and the stability of movement.
